Brewmaster Raid is a Metroid-vania level I created for another one of my moduiles. We were given a basic framework, and had to blockout a level, mesh it out, add in lighting and script any custom gameplay mechanics.
The main changes I made were to alter a few of the animations used and add in a couple of new mechanics.
I added in a bomb mechanic that destroyed particular elements of the environment, and a repair mechanic that could used to fix and interact with various objects around the level.
We also had to setup cinematics; I created one that was triggered at the start to show the path of the first half of the level; and a second which was triggered just before the final room.
