Professional Work

Jurassic World Evolution 2

Role - Graduate Designer/Full Game Designer

Responsibilities -

  • Design, implementation & maintenance of missions for the Chaos Theory & Campaign game modes in the base game, Dominion Biosyn Expansion & Dominion Malta Expansion.
    • Working from both existing designs & developing my own from the ground up
    • Authoring levels using in game tools.
    • Creating, updating & maintaining mission scripts.
    • Balance & Iteration following feedback from other designers & game direction and both internal & external playtests.
    • Worked closely with narrative, localisation, audio & game direction to produce narrative outlines and hookup up voiceover text and subtitles to line up with mission objectives.
  • Maintained and supported existing base game & DLC content including missions, sandbox maps, contracts, narrative events & tech trees.
  • Acted as the design point of contact & lead for the project during part of the post-release support.
    • Took ownership of most of the free update content; including designing a couple of larger features of note: a cinematic camera mode & custom challenge mode.
    • Took on the responsibility of bug triage for design issues.

Elite Dangerous: Odyssey

Role - Graduate Designer
Responsibilities -

  • Design & Implementation of on-foot settlements; including exterior spaces and building interiors.
  • Navmesh blocking
  • Adding enemy spawn points, objective locations, interactables, resources, patrol routes etc.
  • Consideration of cover, sightlines & traversal.

  • Iteration through feedback from senior design team.

Game Jams

Curio Collector

Curio Collector is driving game with very light survival elements. Your goal is drive around in your retrofitted hover car collecting curious artifacts while keeping an eye on your vehicle's fuel so you don't run out and start succumbing to the freezing cold.


Created in one week duiring the 2023 Epic Megajam, where the theme was 'Antiquated Future'


My responsibilities were 3C design and implementation for the car and 1st person character, the upgrade system and main game loop.

Engine: Unreal Engine 5

Le Retour

Le Retour is simple game where play as an art thief who has decided to return all the stolen art. Navigate the level placing the paintings on the right sized spaces while avoiding all the security cameras.


Created in 48hrs for the GMTK Game Jam 2023 where the theme was 'Roles Reversed'


My contributions were mainly anything to with 3Cs (character, controls and camera) and the main game loop.

Vlad's Descent

Vlad's Descent is a 2.5d side-scrolling action platformer where you gather blood to fight monsters and open the Six Gates of Hell.


Created in one week alongside Epic Megajam 2022 from the  theme "As Above, So Below".


I mainly look after the character, controls and camera - including special abilities - and the world transition effect.

Koko 'n Dillo

In Koko 'n Dillo you control both characters at the same time.

  • Koko picks up loot while Dillo rolls in and defends.
  • Explore arid temples and defend against enemies
  • Collect as much loot along the way


Made during Global Game Jam 2022, with a team of 3 others. I worked primarily on the characters; including their controls, movement and abilities. 


The theme was 'Duality'

Engine: Unreal Engine 4

After the Game Jam was done, I decided togo back and add in a few quality of life changes that we didn't have time to add orginally. This included


  • Some extra button prompt decals for tutorialisation; particle effects
  • Improvements to interactable buttons
  • More sound effects and
  • An occlusion shader so the characters aren't completely obscured by obstacles.
